Greetings, Esteemed Ladies, I would like to take a moment to introduce myself. I am a fitness enthusiast who has undergone a significant transformation; at one point, my weight exceeded 80 kilograms.
With the guidance of a renowned dietician and a commitment to regular exercise, I have successfully reduced my weight to below 58 kilograms, and I remain dedicated to further improvement.
Following weight loss, it is crucial to focus on toning the body, and I find myself addressing a few areas, such as love handles and some excess flab on my arms, that require attention.
Additionally, I have a profound appreciation for massages, as they provide me with immense pleasure and relaxation. Before the COVID-19 pandemic.
I experienced a Balinese Massage, which I found to be an excellent method for unwinding and enhancing bodily tone. I would like to share some fundamental aspects of a Balinese Massage.
Indonesian ritual
This Indonesian ritual is designed to alleviate water retention and muscle soreness. The treatment lasts for 75 minutes and incorporates various techniques, including body stretching, oil massage, kneading, and the application of pressure on specific points to relieve pain.
Please be aware that the massage may be uncomfortable for some individuals; therefore, it is advisable to communicate any discomfort or muscle strains to the therapist prior to the commencement of the treatment.
Benefits of Balinese Massage:
1. Complete Stretching of muscles:
If you do a heavy workout, you need to be stretched thereafter. In a Balinese massage, the first step is stretching muscles. The therapist with her force on the body will make you do many yoga stretches on the massage bed.
Stretching is also a way of getting ready for the massage you will be given later. It completely releases me from the pain, and my joints feel more liberated.
2. Improves blood circulation:
A Balinese massage helps improve blood circulation. The upward pressure strokes are set by the therapist to help improve blood circulation. It rushes blood into all the parts of the body, in turn giving you healthy-looking skin and a fresh face.
Therefore, it is a deep technique that relieves all kinds of spasms. It is a deep-pressure massage that alters the mental state and calms the nerves.
3. Toning up of the flab:
As I mentioned, I still need toning up, the best way is through specific exercises and massages, and therefore, a Balinese massage is a perfect solution to this. It not only tones up your flab but also relaxes your mind. Thus, get a regular massage and see the difference.
4. Soft skin:
The oils and essential oils used help you moisturize the skin; they work wonders for the onset of winter. I get regular massages, which work wonders for me :). The oils work extremely well for me, thus I ditch lotions for winter and get a massage. FYI, I have extremely dry skin
Just a suggestion here, Balinese massage should not be the pick if you have had any injury or surgery in the recent past. Pregnant and expecting mothers should check with their doctors before getting a Balinese massage, which involves using pushing techniques.
I hope you all enjoyed reading about my experience at the Balinese Massage. See you soon
Much love
